@Fletch Tried changing to different resolutions in the game menu but same prob when missions load..crashes after everything has loaded ...meshes ..sky/sea etc.

Searched quite a bit for a solution on the net..finally found something about the cause of the crash.
"the message is generated by RtlUnhandledExceptionFilter2() in ntdll.dll. This gets called when the application triggers a Win32 layer exception (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in this case) and doesn't register a filter using SetUnhandledExceptionFilter() or AddVectoredExceptionHandler(). The kernel calls RtlUnhandledExceptionFilter in the executive layer as part of the default exception handling sequence, which eventually triggers generation of the message."
But as I am not a geek don't know how to solve this
