Hi - if you want the best falcon sim now, skip open falcon 4.7 and go to BMS Falcon and download their updates to the ORIGINAL Falcon 4 by Microprose (1998) -

All you need is the falcon.exe file to install the BMS version, which is FANTASTIC! I have the original .exe file if you need it.

I already installed this but I don't like it , I prefer open falcon. the problem is it doesn't run on Windows 8 x64...I get a transparent cockpit. Falcon BMS does run on windows 8 though...

Oh, well, sorry...can't help you with that since I don't run Win8 and don't have OF 4.7....good luck!
