Lading the plane... and bailing out, too.

Regardless of sinkrate, speed, etc. if the plane hits the ground belly-first with the gear down, it automatically and safely touches down. That means, if I get hit, I could lower the gear, try to make the plane as straight as possible to cheat my death. Is this getting worked on? I perfer realism, so I'm hoping the damage and other similar things get touched up on. And also, when I pull the seat handle or ctrl-e to bail, nothing happens. This will get fixed as well, right?
